Referrals
After making initial contact with our office, we will request a referral from your child's PCP to begin the assessment process. Our goal is make this step as easy as possible for you. Permission will be obtained from you to contact necessary medical professionals.
Scheduling
Once all referrals are completed, we will schedule one of two appointment dates with you. Each appointment will take approximately 90 minutes, and will include both the child and the parents or primary caregivers. For some children, this may be accomplished in one appointment setting. A great deal of information and observation will be collected along with direct evaluation procedures by licensed providers.
Completion
Following the completion of the full assessment, a comprehensive report compiling all testing information will be made available within a 2 week period of time. Your child will be given a personalized plan of care along with recommendations for family support. If therapy is recommended, it can be scheduled with our facility, or information can be sent to the provider of your choice in your community. All reports will be shared with parents/caregivers, physicians and therapists as appropriate.

At CARE, we know how frustrating it can be to find the right help for your child. We strive to take the current national average of a 24+ month wait for an evaluation for Autism into a 90 day completed process. The earlier your child can access available resources, the more quicly they can take off on the journey to greater success!
